Q: What is a life coach?
A: Using professional training, experience and intuition, a life coach guides you to finding and discovering the answers that truly lie deep within you. Once you are clear about what you want and don’t want in your life, Janie partners with you to envision and manifest the life you would love. Without a true plan, this remains just a dream. Manifesting the dream is the ultimate outcome of life coaching.
Q: Who can benefit from life coaching?
A: Life coaching helps people from all professional and personal backgrounds and at all stages of their life cycle. It improves and leverages areas of strength and builds and develops weaker areas to make the most of a person’s life. In the end, the goal of life coaching is to help individuals develop their skills and abilities to become more self-sustaining, thinking and confident people.
Q: What are some of the areas that lend themselves to life coaching?
A: Areas this process is most helpful, but are not limited to include:
- Getting unstuck in your life
- Navigating major life transitions (career issues, career development, job loss, career change, divorce, death of a significant other, becoming an empty-nester, retirement, etc.)
- Finding, nurturing and growing your empowered self
- Setting healthy boundaries
- Finding your passion
- Developing your creative expression
- Relationship issues
- Managing and dealing with elder care issues and decisions
- Ridding yourself of guilt
- Achieving your goals
Q: How long does the process take?
A: This is completely dependent on you and the commitment you make to fully and honestly work the process.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Janie creates and tailors a program that will work for you. She does both individual and group coaching as well as corporate seminars and workshops. Contact Janie to set up a complimentary coaching session and explore how she can help you reach your life’s dreams.
Q: What is the time commitment?
A: Weekly sessions are the most efficient and effective, but, again, this can be tailored to your busy schedule.
Q: Does this have to be done in person?
A: No, life coaching can be done just as effectively by Skype, Face-time, or phone as well as in person, and remotely, but visually, is preferred most of the time.
